Gold Pulse shows the price of gold and silver for 12 Indian cities in one simple place: today's rate, the price by weight, today's updates, the last 10 days and charts of how the price has moved. We also write plain-language guides for people buying or selling jewellery, and offer free tools.
How the price is worked out
- We take the world price of gold and silver in rupees.
- We add import duty and the usual Indian market premium, so the number is close to what local markets quote.
- 22 carat is 22/24 of the 24 carat price. 18 carat is 18/24 of it. Silver is for fine (999) silver.
- GST (3%) and making charges are not included.
Prices are checked three times a day, around 10:00 AM, 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM India time. Every shop sets its own price, so always check with your jeweller before you buy.

Who runs Gold Pulse
Gold Pulse is run by Teraverse Studio, an independent studio in India that makes websites and mobile games. We built Gold Pulse to give families one simple, honest place to check gold and silver prices before they visit a jeweller.
